Pastor Combs received his ministerial license from the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (P.A.W.) in November, 1977 and was Ordained in August, 1982. He was an Electrical Distribution Engineer for the Public Service Co of Colorado for twenty two years and as a licensed General Contractor, has designed and built two Worship facilities.

Pastor Combs is the Founder and Pastor of Christ’s Church Apostolic, Inc., Aurora, Colorado and has pastored the same for over 32 years. He is the Founder and President of the Garfield Thomas Haywood Bible Institute of Colorado, the first approved Aneon Bible Institute of the PAW, Inc. Extension in the region. A chosen man of God, he has a dynamic gift of sound teaching and preaching, which he utilizes to spread the gospel within our city, and across the country. He often states, “I want to be Biblically Sound and Theologically Correct in my stance and in my proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Several unique ministries have been implemented under the leadership of Pastor Combs, including the “Rites of Passage” “Male Mentoring, “Youth Empowering Services” (YES), Block Basketball League, a mentoring program for young adult males called “The Leader’s Legacy,” and a “Pastors Mentoring Program” that has served pastors in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. The “Rites of Passage” and the “Block Basketball League” are specifically designed to be a source of mentorship, encouragement and outreach to young African American males of the inner-city.
