Christ Church

Evg. Martenia C. Combs, aka Evg. Tina Combs, ordained minister, was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Spirit at the age of 9 years.  Evg. Combs is a “child of God” and enjoys working with and ministering to people.  One of her assignments is ministry to women with a goal of helping to meet the needs of those who are hurting.  Her special call is to Pastors’ Wives.  Having served in this position for 30+ years, she knows well the challenges of this position.  Her motto is “Serving God’s people through the love of Christ.”

Other accomplishments include: she has an earned Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies, and a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy.  Evg. Combs is now providing counseling/psychotherapy to those in the body of Christ who desire this service.  It has been a blessing and a joy working in this assignment and helping to facilitate the healing of the mind, emotions, and spirit.

Evg. Combs received the call to the ministry about 27 years ago.  She was ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. in 1994.

Evg. Combs is the First-Lady of Christ’s Church Apostolic, Inc.  At Christ’s Church Apostolic, she is an associate minister, a member of the Executive Leadership team, and a facilitator and instructor for the Women’s Ministry.  She has served as a teacher in the Christian Education Department, an instructor for the G.T. Haywood Bible Institute, and founder and facilitator for ‘Women In Ministry’.

Outside of Christ’s Church Apostolic, she is the founder and facilitator of the Colorado Pastors’ Spouses Support group, founder and facilitator of the ministry, “Colorado Apostolic Women (CAW), and Director of Records, office of the General Secretary of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. for the past 24 years.  She served as President of the NwDC Ministers’ Wives of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. for six years.

Evg. Combs has been happily married for 41 years to Suff. Bishop Almer R. Combs.  They have three beautiful children, one son, Christopher Allen, two daughters, Tammy Monique and Rebekah Deniese, and two beautiful granddaughters, Bria Genesis and Niara Lanay.
