Pastor Combs is an Alumnus of Colorado Christian University where he majored in Biblical Studies and developed a love for “Systematic Theology.” Since attending Colorado Christian University, he founded and is the Pastor of Christ’s Church Apostolic, Inc. (CCAI) which is located in Aurora, Colorado. He received his ministerial license from the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW, Inc.) in November of 1977, and was Ordained into Pastoral ministry in August, 1982. He was employed for twenty-five years by the PSCo of Colorado (a utility company), as an Electrical Distribution Engineer. He also holds a current General Building Contractor license and has designed and built two worship facilities.
As pastor of CCAI, he has implemented several unique ministries: the “Rites of Passage” “Male Mentoring, “Youth Empowering Services” (YES), Block Basketball League, a mentoring program for young adult males called “The Leader’s Legacy,” and a “Pastors Mentoring Program” that has served pastors in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. The “Rites of Passage” and the “Block Basketball League” are specifically designed to be a source of mentorship, encouragement and outreach to young African American males of the inner-city. He also currently serves as a Clergy Representative on the ‘Key Community Response Team’ (KCRT) for the City of Aurora, Colorado.
He has been married to the lovely and talented Evangelist Martenia Combs for 41 years and they share in ministry together at Christ’s Church Apostolic, Inc. To this union the Lord has added three children: a son – Minister Christopher Allen, and two daughters – Evg. Tammy Monique and Rebekah Denise; and two granddaughters; Bria Genesis and Niara Lanay.
